Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
alpha Brief Portfolio
The alpha Brief Portfolio (aBP) is Henriot’s research-based model portfolio. It is built to show readers how their prop research model finds and tracks stock ideas using a structured investment process. The strategy combines growth at a reasonable price thinking with data-based screening and fundamental research. Subscribers can follow buy, sell, and rebalance updates and read the reasoning behind each move. The portfolio is meant to be transparent and educational. On the site, Henriot presents it as a model portfolio rather than a live investment product.
No. alpha Brief Portfolio is not a managed account, live fund, brokerage account, or managed fund. It is presented as a research-based model portfolio that reflects how their proprietary model thinks about capital allocation in practice. That means readers get the research, the holdings context, and the portfolio logic. It does not mean Henriot is managing each reader’s money or making trades on a reader’s behalf.
The selection process is systematic and research-driven. The model looks for companies showing strength across various pillars, including valuation, growth, profitability, sentiment, earnings revisions, and management guidance. The model runs monthly using updated financial statements and other company information. A stock does not get added just because of one strong day or one headline. A name has to maintain the required rank over multiple sessions before it makes the cut.
